What's on your stereo/iPod when you work?
At the moment mostly Bonnie 'prince' billy, Beirut and Smog.
What was the first book you remember being read as a child?
A book called 'Serendipity' not sure who wrote it, but it was about a pink Lochness Monster thing which wanted to make friends with other sea animals, a sort of ugly duckling type story.
What do you do to overcome a creative block?
If its before 3pm I drink lots of coffee and look at some of my favourite artists, or if its after 3 I have a couple of beers and get stuck in, but not too much beer because then it just gets worse.
What is your favourite foreign word?
At the moment 'parfait' which is French for perfect. But mostly I like 'so geil' which German slang for 'so cool' but it is not very good to say that because it’s not very respectable.
What do you have at your bedside table?

What is life's greatest mystery?
Just how big or how small is the universe?
