I finished my degree in product design in 1995, started working at Weta Workshop, and didn’t look back from there
You've made furniture for Madonna, a 4 metre high tui for Forest and Bird and giant poo for King Kong, Looking back on your career what has been the most interesting prop you've made?
Art Deco building details (foyer clock, light fittings, etc) for the Empire State Building set for King Kong. Why? I love Art Deco
What would be your advice to anyone wanting to get into prop-making?
Go for it, but wear a mask
