Spring is in the air and Craft2.0 is back. Wellington’s favourite indie craft market returns to The Dowse with some brand new crafters doing tricky things with zips, fabric, paper and pens. Craft2.0 is a special shopping experience, its talented stall-holders offer the chance to buy direct from the maker. With Christmas on the horizon, the October fair will be buzzing with early gift buyers.
It’s a bit of an international affair this time with at least two stalls featuring helpers who are making the trip especially from Australia. Paula, the Melbourne-based illustrator extraordinaire, will be at the Sweet William stall, while Sonja of Knitsch Yarns is leaving the sunny shores of Brisbane to enjoy some knitting goodness at the Knitsch stand.
Once again the talented kids of Craft2.0 will feature on the Hutt News Emerging Artist Table, a popular spot where stock sells out fast.
Over the past few months, the lovely crafters have been featured all over – from Homestyle to Your Home and Garden and on cult websites Design*Sponge and L’il Magoolie. Craft2.0 is proud to be involved in supporting local crafters and invite you to come along on the day and experience it for yourself – it is an event not to be missed.
