Artists Dr Robert Jahnke and Hemi Macgregor (both currently working at Massey University), share their thoughts on some of the themes and ideas running through Plastic Maori. This talk is also a chance to hear about creating art directly from the artists themselves.
Jahnke says "Cultural value, or more specifically, the cultural construct of value, lies at the heart of any engagement with forms that are 'appropriated' or 'commodified' by the 'other' culture".
