This popular and prestigious biennial outdoor sculpture showcase is back again at the Civic Gardens and features works from many established and emerging NZ artists.
TheNewDowse Friends are privileged to have Cam McCracken, Director of TheNewDowse and artistic director for shapeshifter 2010, take us on a tour and talk a little about the works on show. This is Cam’s first year directing this exhibition, and we look forward to his considered selection of the artists and sculptures we will see on display.
Meet in the James Coe 2 room of TheNewDowse for a 3pm start. Please wear comfortable footwear for the walk around the Civic Gardens where the sculptures are exhibited. The tour will finish back at TheNewDowse where a cold drink will be waiting.
