In conjunction with Conservation Week and Michael Parekowhai’s exhibition Jim McMurtry, a wry comment on the perils of introduced species, The NewDowse and HCC want to help you go ‘native’. Throughout the day you can bring all variety of weeds from witchgrass to toadflax and swap it for a native plant. All you need to do is pop into the old Orchid House in the gardens across from TheNewDowse with your weeds in hand!
