Presented in Lower Hutt by Gillespie Young Watson and toured by the Wallace Arts Trust
NZ's longest-running and richest contemporary art awards, with a prize pool of over $80K. TheNewDowse is the only Wellington venue for this edgy, eclectic show featuring works from selected winners and finalists.

OctoKitty - Craft 2.0 mascotCraft 2.0 and Huttette's 21st / FREE
Saturday 11 October, 10am-3pm

Craft 2.0 is back - the A-Z of handmade goods are on display and for sale. Get your Xmas shopping done early - and enter a prize draw for over $200 worth of crafty creations. It's also Huttette's 21st - she's the baby of A Family Occasion, and textile artist Vita Cochran has created her at 21. She'll be joined by party guests created by members of the public.

The Enchanted Forest reveals the production wizards and gets you up close to the sets, costumes and props they use to weave stage magic. A fairytale experience for anyone in need of a little... escape.
