The winner of the 2009 Gold Award is Areta Wilkinson.
TheNewDowse is thrilled to call for proposals for the fifth Gold Award. The judges are in search of a design that demonstrates an understanding of gold in the fullest sense – technical and cultural.
The winning design will be destined for TheNewDowse collection where it will sit alongside outstanding works by previous Gold Award winners Pauline Bern, Joanna Campbell, Kirsten Haydon and Lynn Kelly.
The recipient of the TheNewDowse Gold Award will receive an award package valued at $10,000, comprising of not less than $5000 in gold and the balance in cash.
Entries for TheNewDowse Gold Award close on Friday 3 April 2009 at 5pm and the winner will be announced in May 2009. The winning design must be completed by 4 September 2009.
